Seattle’s Pretty Girls Make Graves will hit the road this spring in support of their new album, Elan Vital, which is out April 11 on Matador. Their 31-date US tour, which follows a handful of European dates, kicks off in Portland, Oregon April 26 and takes the Smiths song–monikered group across the country for a month and a half. The band will also play three in-stores to coincide with their record’s release at Amoeba Records in Los Angeles (April 11) and San Francisco (April 13) and at Sonic Boom in their hometown (April 15). In other PGMG news, bassist Derek Fudesco has unleashed a new side project with Hint Hint’s Peter Quirk called the Cave Singers. The band, who describes themselves as “folk/country/grunge,” is streaming four songs on their MySpace page.
