El-P will finally release the follow-up to his critically-acclaimed 2002 album Fantastic Damage this fall. The LP will be called I'll Sleep When You're Dead (Definitive Jux). His extensive production schedule, which has put him in the studio with Mr. Lif, Cage and Aesop Rock, is also keeping him busy. He's doing production for the second album from now-reformed supergroup Cannibal Ox too. Speaking with Illypses.com back in November, El-P said his busy schedule has kept him away from completing I'll Sleep When You're Dead: "I've been working on it off and on for two years now, whenever I could get time. Realistically, I'm looking to release it toward the end of next year. I was hoping to get it out earlier, but it doesn't seem possible at this point," he said. "I usually spend a lot of time on my own albums. I'm about halfway done with the record and I've got some serious collaborations lined up, which have just been confirmed recently and is partly why the release date has been pushed back a little bit." www.definitivejux.net/jukies/el-p/
