With the weather warming up and summer on its way, music lovers can only have one thing on the mind: outdoor concerts. The third annual Music On The Oval concert series—which is free!—will take place at the Stuyvesant Town Oval, a scenic, 80-acre park located in New York's Lower East Side. It is a six-week showcase of music, featuring various bands and DJs every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Things kick off next Wednesday, June 10, with performances by Budos Band DJ Honeydripper, and run through July 15. San Diego's 25th annual Street Scene Music Festival, which features more than 35 acts over two days, will take place this year on August 28 and 29. This year's fest will host a long list of great bands including Modest Mouse, M.I.A. and Jack White's new project, the Dead Weather. The festival will be held in the East Village neighborhood's Tailgate Park. A limited number of two-day tickets are available now from the festival's official site for the special price of $122.00.
