Electro-glam duo the Polyamorous Affair will release their second album, Bolshevik Disco, July 14 via Manimal Vinyl. Running along similar lines as their self-titled Day Glo debut, this forthcoming release harks back to the '80s when matching your leg warmers to your earrings was a given. Comprised of the Los Angeles-based pair of Eddie Chacon (who cut his teeth back in the day with artists like 2 Live Crew) and former school teacher Sissy St. Marie, the Polyamorous Affair keep things light and sultry. The duo took much of their inspiration for Bolshevik Disco from classic and cult movies while also keeping the focus on making things danceable. The Polyamorous Affair play select tour dates on the west and east coasts (as well as a just-announced date at this year's CMJ Music Marathon), so keep an ear to the dancefloor in anticipation of their arrival.
