Built To Spill are gearing up for the release of their newest (and seventh!) album, There Is No Enemy, which is due out October 6 via Warner Bros., by doing what they do best: touring. Their massive North American tour will kick off in Troutdale, Oregon, with a show with the Flaming Lips on August 20, and then continue across the US and back again (stopping in Toronto and Vancouver as well) through November. The quartet will be introducing songs from their new album into their live set, as well as playing old favorites. You'll have no excuse for missing out on Doug Martsch's killer guitar solos since the band has announced almost 50(!) dates, and plans to schedule more in the coming weeks.
