Indie-hop artist Lyrics Born never seems to sit still. Even as he preps for his latest studio album, As U Were, for a an early 2010 release, he is releasing a physical copy of the fourth installment in his mixtape franchise on August 25. The Lyrics Born Variety Show Season Pho (4) is an official mixtape from the Bay-area artist, and is being released via Mobile Home Recordings in partnership with VTech. The album features exclusive tracks, remixes, mashups and more. Guests on the album include Lateef The Truthspeaker, Joyo Velarde and even English indie rock band Kasabian. Even though Season Pho (4) has been available digitally, it’ll be well worth it to pick up the physical CD, since it also includes exclusive bonus tracks not available on the digital version and slick artwork by Keebz. The album also introduces "Pushed Aside Pulled Apart," which is the second single off Lyrics Born's upcoming album. On August 25, Lyrics Born is also going to feature the song as a free download on his official website. In the spirit of the mixtape that's being released, he is also offering the a capella and instrumentals of the single as a download and asking fans to remix or mash-up the song for the Official Lyrics Born "Pushed Aside, Pulled Apart" Remix Contest.
