Professional punk rock cover band Me First And The Gimme Gimmes have announced the title to their upcoming country western-themed album. Love Their Country is slated for an October 17 release and some of the artists covered include the Eagles, Dixie Chicks, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Sr. and Johnny Cash. The band had previously posted on the Fat Wreck website that they had been kicking around the "crappy" titles Lower The Bar, Cash In and Can't Quit You. The band has no current tour plans, as the Gimmes'members probably won't want to quit their day jobs. Bassist Fat Mike of NOFX is currently on the Warped Tour, lead singer Joey Cape and drummer Dave Raun are heading to South Africa for a series of dates with Lagwagon and Chris Shiflett is currently on a world tour with the Foo Fighters. www.gimmegimmes.com
