British shoegazers Amusement Parks on Fire is digitally releasing the EP Young Fight via Filter today (September 8). This new EP precedes the February 2010 release of the Nottingham-based band's third studio album and coincides with the start of their US tour opening for the Psychedelic Furs and the Happy Mondays. Young Fight features two previously unreleased B-sides and three tracks that appeared on earlier EPs and 12-inches. Since expanding from the solo project of singer/guitarist Michael Feerick in 2004 to a full-blown five-piece rock band, Amusement Parks On Fire have put out four EPs and two albums that feature their bright pop sensibility peering through hazy, ambient guitars.
