Brendan Benson has announced fourteen US tour dates in support of his August-released effort My Old, Familiar Friend, his first solo album since joining Jack White in the Raconteurs. The album is Benson's fourth solo effort and was recorded in both Nashville and in London with producer Gil Norton, who also produced the Pixies, and mixer Dave Sardy, who has worked with the Rolling Stones and LCD Soundsystem. On tour, Benson will be backed by Brad Pemberton (of Ryan Adam's band),Jared Reynolds (of Ben Folds' band) and Mark Waltrous (of the Raconteurs'). The tour kicks off November 13 in St. Louis and closes with a show in Nashville on December 12.
