Last night Rain Machine, the solo project of TV On The Radio's Kyp Malone, played the first show of his 10-date headlining US tour in support of his recently released self-titled debut. The tour, which kicked off in Athens, Georgia, runs through October 25 and includes a October 24 show in New York as part of CMJ's Music Marathon & Film Festival. In November, Rain Machine will then join the Pixies on the road, opening at the band's Doolittle shows at six venues on both coasts.
