Though Eels just released Hombre Lobo (Vagrant) back in June, Mark Oliver Everett's L.A.-based loopy pop project will release another new album on January 19, 2010. The new album, End Times features 14 tracks, mostly self-recorded by Everett (who goes by the simple, one-letter moniker "E") in his basement studio. This is the shortest gap between Eels albums (which, incidentally, follows the longest gap between Eels albums—the four years between Blinking Lights and Hombre Lobo). Keep an eye on the bands website for more album information as it comes in. www.eelstheband.com
