Currently on tour in Europe, the Black Lips will return stateside just in time for a New Year's Eve show in their hometown of Atlanta. They will then spend most of January on a West Coast leg of their tour. The Lips kicked off this current tour with an appearance on late night talk show Last Call With Carson Daly. Filmed at the end of September when the Black Lips backed Yo La Tengo at the Roseland Ballroom in New York, the band's performance of the single "Drugs" aired on Daly's show on October 29. The clip is currently available on NBC's website. "Drugs" appears on the Black Lips' latest album (and third for VICE Records), 200 Million Thousand, which was released in February. After wrapping up the American leg of their tour early next yeat, The Black Lips will head to Japan and Australia.
