The Shaky Hands will tour in December in support of their latest album, Let It Die, which was released at the end of September by Kill Rock Stars. The Portland group struggled in 2008 when they were forced to replace Colin Anderson, drummer and founder, who left the band shortly before their second album, Lunglight, was released. But since then, the band has toured with the Thermals and the Meat Puppets. Their latest album was produced by Jay Pellicci, who has worked with such bands as Deerhoof, and followed frontman Nick Delff's month-and-a-half sojourn in India. The upcoming 13-date tour kicks off in Brooklyn on December 2 and, after a cross-country run, ends in San Francisco on December 16.
