Canadian bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur will release a new solo album, Out Of Our Minds, in February under the moniker MAdM. This is the first solo project for the former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bassist since 2004, and it will be a multimedia experience that also includes a comic book and a short film, which features an original score. The 28-minute film, which stars the singer and was directed by Tony Stone, has been shown at the Sundance Film Festival, the Montreal Museum Of Fine Arts, the Royal Flush Film Festival and World Con's Annual Sci-Fi Convention.
