Matt Pond PA will release a new album, The Dark Leaves, this coming March via Altitude Records. It's been about two years since Pond's last, Last Light, however, and all things point towards growth on his newest record. The Dark Leaves was recorded in a cabin in the woods of New York, where Pond forwent the conveniences of a modern studio. As history has proven with acts like Bon Iver and the Antlers, such cabin sessions sometimes lend themselves to an emotional depth often lost in an era of advancements. So, good omen?
