Further cementing their reputation as a friend to all things innocent and pure (their moniker was inspired by a children's show about a boy and his dog), Belle And Sebastian have announced the release of a compilation that will benefit Save The Children, a non-profit organization that specializes in, well, saving the children. The Colours Are Brighter will feature big-name artists such as Snow Patrol, the Flaming Lips and Franz Ferdinand performing kiddie-themed songs and is set to drop on Rough Trade sometime in October. Four Tet contributes one track, "Go Go Ninja Dinosaur," which we have yet to hear, but—judging by the name alone—should undoubtedly go down as one of the finest songs ever written.
