In 2006, Halloween will not only be the scariest day of the year, but it'll also be the rockingest day for music fans in New York City. The CMJ Music Marathon kicks off on All Hallow's Eve, and we're ready to unveil some of our earliest confirmations. As previously announced, Swedish siblings and mask enthusiasts the Knife will perform (one of only a couple stops they'll make this side of the Atlantic). The Slits will also put in a rare appearance, which will be one of the band's first in 25 years. Mercury Prize nominees Hot Chip, the Black Keys and Adult Swim favorite Madlib will also perform during this year's Marathon.
