The debut album from Nick Cave’s most recent side project, Grinderman, will appear April 10 via Anti. The 11-track, self-titled LP also features multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis, percussionist Jim Sclavunos and bassist Martyn Casey, all of whom have played as part of Cave’s Bad Seeds. A press release describes the band’s aggregate as “babbling lyrics hatched from Bosch eggshells in the Hyde-bound apocalyptic margins of the Cave brain.” We’re not all too sure what that means, but make no mistake, we’re pretty excited.
