Jeff Tweedy will play a string of solo dates in January and plans to announce more shows in the coming weeks. The Wilco frontman will stay in the South for the first leg of the tour, starting in Memphis and ending the month in Charlottesville, Virginia. As for his band, well, they have a new album coming out sometime this spring (or so they say, but you know how that goes) which is yet untitled but set to appear on Nonesuch. And for all you overzealous fans out there primed to go see Tweedy rip it up acoustic-style this January, be careful—in case you haven’t heard, dude’s got a pretty mean right hook.
