In all the recent debate surrounding immigration to the US, there hasn't been much discussion of Scotland's emigrant population—until now, that is. According to a press release, Dundonian indie-pop upstarts the View have been forced to cancel their plans for a May tour of the US and Canada, "[due] to continuing visa and immigration issues." Having reached platinum status in the UK with their debut Hats Off To The Buskers, the quartet had planned this North American jaunt to coincide with the May 8 US release of the album. Determined to make it up to their Stateside fans, the View—in addition to refunding all tickets—will soon release an exclusive song alongside a special message to their fans. The band's US love not stopping there, the US version of Hats Off will feature three previously unreleased songs. Cancelled Tourdates For The View: 04/30 - Cambridge, MA - T.T.
