Brian Wilson has announced the details of his upcoming DVD release, titled Brian Wilson Presents SMiLE: The DVD. Slated for release on May 24, the two-disc set is crammed with all the makings of a collectible companion piece to the album, including the 2004, feature-length Showtime documentary Beautiful Dreamer: Brian Wilson and the Story of SMiLE, a Los Angeles concert performance of the album in its entirety, in-studio solo performances, two hours of never-before-seen footage, and a host of interviews with Wilson, Elvis Costello, Sir George Martin, Burt Bacharach and Roger Daltrey. The American leg of the tour goes for a month through August and early September.
