Rock god Iggy Pop will get the greatest hits treatment on July 19 with A Million In Prizes: The Iggy Pop Anthology (Virgin-EMI). The retrospective features cuts from the Stooges' debut through Pop's last release, Skull Ring, which featured a pseudo-Stooges reunion, as well as non-album gems like "I'm Sick Of You" (possibly the best Stooges song never released), "TV Eye" and "Loose" recorded at the Feile festival in 1993. The collection will feature liner notes by former Patty Smith guitarist Lenny Kaye and the Stooges' first A&R rep, Danny Fields. For those who would like to see an older Iggy (well, Lou Reed once said he has "the best body in rock and roll") perform his songs live, the label is also releasing Iggy Pop: Live From The Avenue B. The DVD was filmed in Belgium during his 1999 tour for his Avenue B album. All aboard for funtime!
