CocoRosie has been arrested, according to a bulletin posted on their MySpace page, forcing them to cancel the rest of their US tour. The freakfolk sisters are "crying," according to the post, but did not divulge the reason for their arrest. They did ask fans to remember they will be playing a free show May 19 in New York and to "say a prayer for our band." If that is a clue (or the fact that they were able to post a MySpace bulliten), we imagine they won't be kept for too long. No word whether their Canadian or European dates will be canceled as well. Their label, Touch & Go, did not return calls by press time.
