The satellite radio provider SIRIUS has struck a deal with corporate rock juggernaut the Grateful Dead to create a station that plays only Dead music. Grateful Dead Radio will stream music that spans the band's 40-year-plus career, pulling recordings from surviving band member's personal archives, bootleg performances and previously unreleased material. All SIRIUS subscribers will be able to hear the station, which is set to launch this summer, as part of the $12.95 monthly fee they pay. www.sirius.com
