CMJ has announced the nominees for this year's College Radio Award Nominees, with voting taking place at this year's CMJ Music Marathon. The award ceremony will take place Thursday, October 18 during CMJ Music Marathon's College Day in NYU's Eisner And Lubin Auditorium. The winners will be presented with custom made awards from Yee-Haw Industries. College Day will kick off with breakfast and a performance from jazz pianist Eldar. Stay for panels discussing issues unique to college radio and show your academic prowess during the "Speling" Bee, where CMJ will challenge participants to spell the most difficult words around: band names. The fan-chosen winner from OurStage.com will be performing during lunch. After the award ceremony, head over to Tribeca Cinemas to see the the unlikely comedy, Wristcutters: A Love Story. During College Day, one lucky radio representative will win a trip to the Western Australian Music Conference in Perth, Australia, courtesy of WAM, The West Australian Music Industry Association. Let the drum roll begin.
