Electronic noisemakers Castanets are taking their October 23 releasem In The Vines (Asthmatic Kitty), on a month-long tour. The quartet(or trio or eight-piece or whatever they happen to decide) will be supported by Deer Tick, whose members will make up Castanets' road band. The combined acts will play colleges and clubs on the East Coast, with a stop in the Great White North, before dipping back down to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Let's hope the tour bus is large enough.
