Time To Download MPWiis
Jan 2, 2008
Story by: Matt Kiser

For those who received a shiny Nintendo Wii this holiday season, a new Web application allows MP3tunes users the ability to stream their digital music through the gaming console and control it via remote. Created by a third-party developer, WiiTunes uses the MP3tunes' Music Locker, a secure online storage solution for users who want to upload their personal collections, that syncs it to their mobile devices and streams it from almost any computer connected to the Internet. The Music Locker is already compatible with the Sony PlayStation 3 and a variety of Windows Mobile devices.

You need the Internet Channel installed on your Nintendo Wii to access the WiiTunes application, which costs 500 Wii points ($5), to get to Mp3tunes.com. Then it's just a matter of cranking up Queen's "We Are The Champions" while you pw3n your friend in Wii Sports.
