The award-winning sci-fi series Heroes may not be making its triumphant return to TV until this fall, when its long-anticipated third season will be aired, but the music which accompanies it and at times even drives it will hit much sooner. The soundtrack, which drops March 18, is produced by Six Feet Under's Errol Kolosine and will feature the artists we all know (Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Iggy Pop), the artists we've come to know (New Pornographers, Wilco, Nada Surf) and a few surprises (like an exclusive new Jesus and Mary Chain track, "All Things Must Pass.") The album will be available at Best Buy stores and select digital service providers like Microsoft's Zune, which will also host a free downloadable video podcast series featuring music from the upcoming soundtrack beginning February 29.
