Billy McCarthy, lead singer of Brooklyn-based Pela, slipped on stage at a concert Saturday night and received a gash in his left hand, lacerating tendons along his pinky finger that were inflicted from a broken pint glass. The accident happened during the finale performance of "Cavalry," at Schubas in Chicago, and has caused the band to cancel their remaining tour dates.
