The latest installment in Activision's kickflip-without-leaving-your-couch series, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, will feature more than 60 rock, punk, hip-hop and electronica tracks to keep you grooving while grinding an extensively-reproduced L.A. (we just hope you can tear it up at Spago's). Along with heavyweights like Green Day and the Bravery, the album will feature music from some CMJ faves like Bloc Party, Death From Above 1979, Rob Sonic, Prefuse 73, High On Fire, Mastodon, Pig Destroyer and El-P, as well as Thrice's new single "Image of the Invisible" from the band's upcoming album VHEISSU. Vagrant Records will also release a stand-alone Tony Hawk's American Wasteland Soundtrack on October 18 to coincide with the release of the game. The record features bands such as Saves The Day, Thursday, Dropkick Murphys, the Bled and others performing songs from bands that defined punk music like the Misfits, Descendents and the Stooges.
