Minneapolis indie-popsters Love In October have completed the video for their new single, "Petrula The Destroyer," and CMJ.com has the exclusive premiere. You can check out the lo-res version by clicking www.cmj.com/videos/petrula_stream_512k.mov or access the hi-res version at www.cmj.com/videos/petrula_stream_1024k.mov. "Petrula" is taken from their recently released sophomore album, Pontus, The Devil, And Me. Helmed by director Behn Fannin, the band hopes the video feels like a cross between Sesame Street and Office Space. "We're excited to be releasing our third music video and our weirdest one to date," says frontman Erik Widman. "This one was really fun to make and Behn Fannin did a great job directing it. If you could win an Oscar or an Emmy for a music video, we would win a Osc-Emmy for this one. It's an instant classic." But music videos aren't Love In October's sole means of promotions, as the group has a handful of show dates lined up as well. Tour Dates For Love In October: 04/11- Minneapolis, MN - Nomad World Pub 04/19 - Durand, WI - Durand Theatre 05/16 - Madison, WI - Club Tavern* * Free Show. www.loveinoctober.com
