Four years after his death at age 62, legendary songwriter and guitarist John Fahey's songbook gets the tribute treatment with I Am The Resurrection(Vanguard) on February 14. Fahey died in 2001, leaving behind a 40-year career and dozens of albums. Fahey mixed blues, folk, classical and world music, making him an outsider for most of his career, until a Rhino retrospective, titled Return Of The Repressed gained him new fans. The tribute album, which brings together bands who have been influenced by Fahey's work, was produced by M.
