Fresh off the release of their critically acclaimed debut, Saturnalia (Sub Pop), morose romancers the Gutter Twins will kick off a string of US shows in Los Angeles on July 10. The tour will include festival slots (Lollapalooza in Chicago, Sub Pop 20 in Seattle), as well as headlining venue shows, for which English singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt will be the opening act. The Gutter Twins—comprised of Greg Dulli (formerly of Afghan Whigs, amongst others) and Mark Lanegan (former lead singer of Screaming Trees, also amongst others)—will cap off their 10-city jaunt in the Windy City on August 2 before heading to Europe. Around the same time, they will releasing a 7-inch vinyl single for their die-hard fans overseas.
