Nouveau-pop collective Stereolab will set out on a March tour that should satisfy your deficiency of post-Krautrock grooves and bossa-nova-tinged ditties. This past year the group released a trio of 7-inch singles on Too Pure/Beggars Banquet, following their departure from major label Elektra. So will there be a new record in the coming year? Only time will tell, but until then, you'll have to catch any new material from the band during one of these rare North American appearances.
