In his latest musical manifestation, Nick Thorburn (formerly of Unicorns, Islands) has joined forces with hip-hop producer Daddy Kev to create Reefer. Their collaboration, born out of a drunken agreement at a SXSW party and recorded on a Hawaiian island potentially under another influence, is a tropical reverie complete with a generous dose of bass and Thorburn's telltale warble. Reefer's self-titled debut is available digitally October 14th on Alpha Pup, man. Tracklisting for Reefer: 01. The Simplest Way 02. May Baleen 03. Let It Go 04. Five Hundred An Ounce 05.
