What's red and black and yellow all over? Give up? The White Stripes are set to appear on an episode of The Simpsons this year, lending their voices and likenesses to the cartoon series. They'll be joining the long list of bands that have appeared on the show, which includes Sonic Youth, The Who, the Ramones, R.E.M., Spinal Tap and the Smashing Pumpkins, among others. Here's hoping that The Stripes' guest appearance will finally get the cool kids to watch, perhaps saving the show from cancellation.
