Icelandic ambient-rockers Sigur Rós will bring their bowed guitars and androgynous falsetto vocals to the US in February for a 17-date tour, followed by shows in England, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand in March and April. The band also recently released a video for Takk...'s latest single "Hoppipolla." The single for the track includes the long-awaited studio recording of the band's revamped, bass-string-pounding version of "Hafsol" (which originally appeared in a different form on their debut Von). If that's not enough, the quartet has an EP (with new b-sides) for "Saeglopur" set for a spring release, as well as a video for the song.
