The newly reconstituted Dinosaur Jr., whose original members—J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph—reunited last year when they reissued their first three albums, have just announced the dates of their upcoming US tour in late March/April. If you didn't catch them on their extensive first reunion tour, here is another chance to catch up on their 22 years of catalogue. While they are busy garnering interest in the reformation of the original band, these progenitors of noisy alternative rock also plan to release their first DVD. This compilation of interviews, behind the scenes and concert footage of their tour last December is planned to be released by this Summer. The band is also currently in the studio again, recording what will be (if they release it) the first recording this lineup has made in 15 years. Unlike so many other bands that have left and come back, Dinosaur Jr. are not just riding their success to the bank.
