The decade-defying Pretenders, fronted by Chrissie Hynde, will release a box set, Pirate Radio (Rhino), on March 14. This release occurs exactly a year after the pop-punk group was inducted in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. The box boasts four discs including previously unreleased tracks, a Regent Park demo of "Precious," hits like "Brass In Pocket," a demo of "Watching The Clothes," an original version of "Angel Of The Morning" and enough live recordings and chart topping tracks to fill five hours. It even has a live cover of Radiohead's "Creep." In addition, the box contains a 19-song DVD highlighting live performances between 1979 and 1995 and a collector's edition poster. The band will also be hitting the road for a short stint including a performance and interview at this year's SXSW Festival. Following will be a House Of Blues tour, which includes stops in Los Angeles and Atlantic City. Dates will be announced for a tour that will include stops in New York and London.
