Who ever heard of a Modest Smith? Well, it exists. Big-cheese rocker Isaac Brock is collaborating with Smiths former guitarist Johnny Marr on material for the next Modest Mouse full-length, which is slated for release on Epic later this year. The pair has been working at Brock's home in Portland for the past few weeks, and we're all praying for Marr's safety (remember what happened last time). Marr has other projects to worry about, like finishing a sophomore album with his band the Healers, which will be out this spring.
