Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade can't seem to let it all out in his main band, so he's preparing another release for his act Sunset Rubdown, slated to hit shops this May. The project began as a solo endeavor of sorts consisting of tunes recorded at home, and a full-length (Snake's Got A Leg) and an EP appeared on the Global Symphonic label as a result of this undertaking. The upcoming record, titled Shut Up I Am Dreaming and also to be released on Global Symphonic, is apparently "a full-fledged band effort," featuring new collaborators and assumedly better production values. Krug will tour Sunset Rubdown this May with Frog Eyes, of which Krug had previously played keyboards with and will apparently assume this role again for the upcoming tour.
