Coldplay grabbed best British album and single, while Green Day took best international album at the Brit Awards, which took place in London February 15. The Arcade Fire lost in all three categories where they received nominations: best international album, group, and breakout act. Kaiser Chiefs took home three of the Brit-specific awards (the Brits have separate catagories to take care of their own). The group won best group act, live act, and rock act. The Arctic Monkeys predictably won British Breakthrough Act. Anthony And The Johnsons lost British male solo act, while Kanye West won International Act over Beck and Bruce Springsteen. www.brits.co.uk
