Former Afgan Whig Greg Dulli will release his fourth album under the Twilight Singers name on May 16. The album, titled Powder Burns (One Little Indian), was recorded last year in New Orleans, a few weeks after Hurricane Katrina hit the city. Singer Ani Difranco was recording in the studio at the same time and provided guest vocals on some of the songs on Powder Burns. Dulli also brought in Joseph Arthur, Scott Bennett and fellow Afgan Whig John Curley to contribute to the recordings. Dulli is no stranger to New Orleans, having used the city's sounds (and some of its session musicians) on the demos for the first Twilight Singers album, Twilight As Played By The Twilight Singers.
