Beastie Boys Doc Gets Special Screening

Beastie Boys Doc Gets Special Screening
Mar 14, 2006
Story by: Jessica Kadylak

Be one of the first to view the Beastie Boys' documentary Awesome, I Fuckin' Shot That, when it is shown nationwide on nearly 200 screens March 23, along with a special pre-show mini-movie. The documentary, which will get a regular release in major cities March 31, was made October 9, 2004 when the Boys distributed 50 hand-held video cameras to fans at their sold-out Madison Square Garden show. Moviegoers at the special screenings will also get to see the exclusive 30-minute segment A Day In The Life Of Nathanial Hornblower, starring David Cross. Beastie enthusiasts may know Hornblower (who filmed A Day In The Life... special for this occasion) as Adam Yauch (MCA), who also directed the documentary.
