Cocteau Twins rejoice! All of those hard-find and out-of-print singles and EPs that you’ve been scouring used record stores and eBay for are finally being released in one, four-disc collection. Lullabies To Violaine: Singles & Extended Plays 1982-1996, out March 21 on 4AD, showcases all 59 non-album tracks from the Scottish band’s 14-year career, chronologically-ordered and remastered, including tracks from their late-career tenure on Capitol. The collection, which is contained in a foldout package made of an appropriately gossamer-sounding material called “Curious Soft Touch Milk,” will be available in a worldwide limited edition of 10,000. Because the boxed set is practically already sold out, 4AD is also releasing the collection as a separately-sold, two-volume double disc set, which is not limited in release. Volume One covers the 4AD era (1982 – 1990) and Volume Two covers the Mercury/Capitol years (1993 – 1996). Don't fret though; the music, liner notes and artwork are the same.
